Cape Cod Charm

Our Mobile raw bar & taproom

In a Restored Antique Wooden Boat

Meet Aw Shucks – a restored 1956 Penn Yan Captivator, converted to house two taps, a raw bar, and a bartender/shucker on board. Cape Cod charm and a whole lot of functionality packed into one small, mobile package.

Typically we reserve Aw Shucks for a select few special events each year. However, with our current opportunity to embrace outdoor dining, we’re bringing her to the blacktop to create the Aw Shucks “tavern” at Oliver’s.

Join us for drinks and the raw bar later this summer.

A Small but Mighty History

Aw Shucks was found in a barn, in disrepair in 2012. After 55 long years of running the New England waters, her hull was worn out and leaking, but we had a vision of breathing new life into this once mighty little boat.

With a 14-foot outboard runabout with mahogany Triotite construction, refrigerated raw bar area, and bow housing two bronze taps, this one-of-a-kind antique is available for select events and soon under our social-distancing-approved outdoor tent.
